The specified needs of your business will largely determine the cost of contract cleaning. Smaller offices generally don't require the use of costly cleaning supplies and equipment, so contract cleaning services cost less. If you have a large business and need more workers, equipment, and special services, you can expect to pay upwards of 10 cents per square foot for contract cleaning. The prices of these services can vary from one contract cleaning service to another but typically the cost is determined by square footage. For example, carpet cleaning costs around 9 to 12 cents per square foot while stripping and waxing a tile floor costs around 20 to 25 cents per square foot.
